Kahawai Hale

Kahawai Hale, is a furnished two bedroom/1 bathroom rental in Mt. View that’s in between Hilo and Volcano Village off of Hwy 11. Kahawai Hale loosely means “streamside house”. The property is on a little over an acre of land with a wide variety of beautiful trees. A fenced pasture is out back with a newly upgraded animal shed/water catchment. A large covered back porch, with furniture for dining and relaxing, looks out onto the pasture. The full kitchen has stainless steel appliances, including a gas range/oven, in bathroom laundry and all utilities are included. A large 65” smart tv in the living room and Wi-Fi is supplied for entertainment. There’s a large grassy side yard that features a stone Portuguese bread oven (could be used as a pizza oven too). It’s a private location on a lane that services five homes and adjoining farm land. Easy access to Hwy 11 to get to Hilo, Kona and anywhere in between. Grocery markets, eateries, a coffee shop are nearby. Owners may have a few sheep to the pasture – just to keep the grass down.
